Disease: Malaria
Proposer: 0x1610…1F7A

Summary

Malaria, particularly lethal for sub-Saharan African children, poses a significant challenge in Benin, leading in mortality and hospital visits. This study evaluates the acceptability of new WHO-recommended malaria vaccines, RTS,S/AS01 and R21/Matrix-M, in varying malaria prevalence areas of Natitingou and Dangbo. Aimed at tailoring future vaccination efforts to local socio-cultural contexts, the research will conduct a survey to inform strategies enhancing vaccine coverage and reducing malaria's impact in Benin.
